Itty Bitty Baby Girl

With some Stampin' Up goodies I created this sweet baby card. First I took the stamp set Work of Art and Memento Angel Pink ink and stamped the background brush strokes layer. Next I took out the Stamp Set Six-Sided Sampler and stamped two different stamps from the set with Simon Says Stamp dye ink in HollyHock and three with Ranger Dye Ink Pad in Pink Gumball. One of these latter only made a hexagon edge. In the blank middle I stamped the little baby and the bow from the set Itty Bitty Baby. I then cut out the hexagons and pasted them onto the brush strokes background. I created depth by pasting some directly onto the background and the rest were added with various thicknesses of foam tape. I really like this technique and I would like to enter this card for the Love This Technique challenge at the SSS Monday Challenge Blog.

The sentiments were stamped onto the card with stamps from the Itty Bitty Baby set and some Stazon Cherry Pink ink. The little rows of hearts are also from the same stamp set and were stamped with Pink Gumball and Hollyhock. I finished the card by adhering the white cardstock onto a dark pink base card and by adding some enamel dots and sequins.

I hope you like my little creation. This card is entered into the 'Love this Technique' challenge at the SSS Monday Challenge Blog.
